GOD CAN TURN

DARKNESS

INTO A

GOOD DAY

The Ninth Hour Matthew 27:45

God Can Turn Darkness Into A Good Day

Let God Turn Your Darkness into A Good Friday

This is an unusual time for all of us.  We have seen a time when we could look at situations and say it could have been the other way and just think no more about it.  We could look the other way and say, it was unfortunate for those folks. Today we are dealing with something that affects all of us.  It affects the young, old, rich, poor, educated, not educated, the loss, and the saved.  All of our lives are being affected in some way.  God is able to bring us out of this better than we went into this. During the time when the Jews were celebrating the Feast of Passover, a very important holy time that recalled how God rescued them from Egypt, something happens that changed the world forever. The Son of God hung dying on a cross when at noon, for three hours, the sun refused to shine and darkness covered the earth.  The Son of the Only True and Living God was being crucified between thieves singing Psalms 22:1, until He cried again with a loud voice, “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit,” and gave up the ghost. The veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.  God changed the world forever by renting the old way of relating to us, bringing forth a covenant relationship of deliverance, redemption, salvation, and purification; not just for Jews only but to whosoever will. From Good Friday until the first day of the week the days were hard, discouraging, weary, frightening, fearful, sorrowful days!  But after the sabbath day of rest, early on the dawning of the first day of the week, light shown out of the darkness!  The Son of God rose from the dead to give new life to all! We do not need to feel discouraged.  The One who loved us so much that He would give His only begotten Son lives to hear our voices!
